Carlton Fields is seeking an associate with one to three years of complex business and financial litigation experience to join its Miami office. An understanding of insurance contracts and insurance coverage issues would be advantageous. Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated writing skills are required. The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, while being able to work individually, on client matters in an environment where drive and client service are valued. Federal clerkship or law review experience is a plus. Admission to practice in Florida is preferred (but the firm is willing to consider strong candidates seeking to relocate to Miami).
