A law firm seeks an experienced USPTO registered Patent Agent with a focus on Chemistry for their Seattle, WA office. Candidates may also be considered for other office locations such as Washington, DC.

Duties

• Conduct patent prosecution and client counseling.
• Prepare opinions and engage in patent office litigation (IPR/PGR proceedings).

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in patent prosecution, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Experience in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, and/or Small Molecule prosecution required.
• Active USPTO Registration Number required.

Education

• Technical or advanced degree in Chemistry or closely related field preferred.

Certifications

• USPTO Registration.

Skills

• Proficiency in technical writing is a plus.
