Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm with a strong presence throughout Texas is currently seeking an entry-level attorney to join their San Antonio office. The firm provides a remote work environment with occasional in-person requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience across various legal practice areas, including business, real estate, probate, and litigation.

Duties:

  • Conduct consultations with potential clients for 1-2 hours daily.
  • Assist with case files under the supervision of the Managing Attorney and firm owner.
  • Support the legal team by performing legal research, drafting documents, and preparing materials for court proceedings.
  • Participate in client meetings, hearings, and depositions as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and client matters.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Comfortable working remotely and utilizing technology in daily tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in litigation and various legal practice areas.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas or eligible to become licensed.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in email and word processing software.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort with technology and remote working environments.

Job Location:
San Antonio, TX (primarily remote with occasional in-person requirements)
