Project Finance / Tax Equity Associate or Senior Associate

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a project finance or tax equity associate/senior associate for its Tax Credits and Projects practice in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates should have significant transactional experience in debt project finance or tax equity financings within renewable or clean energy infrastructure.

Duties

• Negotiate and draft credit agreements, collateral documents, and intercreditor arrangements.
• Manage tax equity financings, tax credit sales, and ITC/PTC structures.
• Conduct due diligence on offtake, EPC, supply, and O&M contracts.
• Collaborate across offices with direct partner mentorship.
• Engage in early client contact and business development opportunities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Transactional experience in debt project finance or tax equity financings.
• Exposure to tax credit transferability, infrastructure, LNG, data centers, or private credit is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
