Principal Wealth Planning Services Advisor
The candidate supports all of Wealth Management Group Advisors in the delivery of strategic planning solutions, including financial, estate and family governance planning. Prepares and delivers certification training to the Relationship Management teams and oversees the preparation and delivery of strategic wealth solutions by Wealth Strategists and Associate Wealth Strategists. Drives growth across the footprint, by developing and implementing strategies for new business development that support the WMG priorities of driving new business, deepening relationships and cross-selling. Supports and is a resource to the Relationship Managers and other team members during the sales process. Monitors activities to ensure the rules of engagement ("protocols") are followed. Partners with PCS Regional Heads and Business Partners. Drives consistency in the delivery of the Client Experience, across the footprint, to ensure we retain clients and consistently exceed clients expectations. Is a resource and monitors activities to ensure that CX "protocols" are followed. Works closely with WMG Head of Sales Strategy and Training to leverage best practices and to ensure consistency in approach. Most senior individual contributor Wealth Strategist position. Works as an expert on Private Client Services team to identify wealth planning solutions; Prepares and delivers solutions based planning presentations. Delivers Wealth planning education and solutions in the Affluent and High Net Worth segments (generally enterprise-wide). Delivers Wealth planning in collaboration with other experts including lending, banking, investment professionals. Works within the national, regional, and local teams to support the strategic referral network initiatives. Provides client facing wealth planning advice to clients with High Net Worth and complex assets. Develops and delivers training and certification as needed to support the Wealth Relationship Managers, Wealth Financial Advisors, Wealth Ctr managers and business partners; Works closely with Wealth Mgmt Group training to leverage and coordinate all training activities. Monitors an online planning portal where Private Client Services team members and/or clients can ask planning questions. Conducts research, Prepares Articles, and White papers and Planning Resources slides. Participates in Enterprise –Wide and client events, seminars and other marketing activities. Supports marketing and communications activities such as developing collateral materials, web content and other items as needed. Ensures all planning “Rules of Engagement” and “Protocols” are followed across the footprint. Completes and complies with any and all compliance requirements. Maintains highest level of self-education and expertise as needed by attending education classes and up to date training. Maintains excellent and effective Client Relationships. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration or a related field is required. Master's Degree Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) is required. Should have 6-12 years of highest knowledge and mastery of multiple job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Should have 12+ years of prior relevant experience within wealth management/wealth planning for ultrahigh net worth clients either within a financial institution or private banking environment. Significant experience with Family Governance and Leadership Consulting is required. Experience building and managing a team of expert professionals and implementing corporate wide programs is required. Expert in Wealth Transfer Planning (i.e. Estate, Tax, Philanthropic Planning) and Financial planning for High Net Worth individuals and families is required.
