Duties:

• Consult with employers, adjusters, and attorneys regarding Medicare issues in workers’ compensation cases and defense litigation.
• Educate clients on proper handling of Medicare set-asides and compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance to attorneys on strategies and best practices for achieving favorable case resolutions, including structured settlements.
• Perform conditional payment searches and prepare Medicare submissions for set aside approval.
• Draft Medicare language for settlement documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of relevant experience in Medicare compliance, workers’ compensation, or related legal fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex Medicare regulations.
• Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively advise clients and collaborate with colleagues.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility for admission.
