Associate Attorney needed for Las Vegas office

Job Overview:
A growing law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas office. This role is ideal for a newly licensed or early-career attorney looking to build their litigation and case management skills in a fast-paced environment focused on workers' compensation defense and subrogation. New associates will receive structured training and mentorship to ensure a strong foundation for long-term success in the practice.

Location:

• Las Vegas, NV

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Assist with hearing preparation and represent clients in administrative proceedings

• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel

• Maintain case files using internal case management systems

• Meet monthly billable hour requirements

• Work collaboratively with supervising attorneys and legal teams

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada

• Familiarity with Nevada statutes and administrative procedures

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced litigation environment

• Ability to relocate to Las Vegas, NV if not already based locally

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in the state of Nevada

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing capabilities

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective verbal and written communication

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively

• Knowledge of Administrative Law preferred but not required
