A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate for its Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice in New York. This position is ideal for candidates with at least four years of experience in M&A and/or private equity transactional work. The successful candidate will have experience representing both financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in complex transactions, including leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity, and minority investments. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with top-tier clients.

Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in M&A and private equity transactions.
Work on leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity, and minority investments.
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents.
Provide strategic advice to clients on complex legal and business issues related to M&A and private equity.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and manage aspects of deals from start to finish.
Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Handle client communications and manage relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
At least four years of experience in M&A and/or private equity transactional work in a top-tier law firm.
Strong transactional experience, including leveraged buyouts, growth equity, minority investments, and sell-side transactions.
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex transactions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be admitted to the New York Bar.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
Strong transactional experience in M&A and private equity.
Proficient in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.
Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
Exceptional communication and client management skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
