2023 - 2L Summer Associate
The summer associates routinely have the opportunity to draft briefs and/or contracts. Summer associates are also invited to handle pro bono projects with assistance provided as needed by supervising attorneys. Throughout the summer, summer associates are invited on "field trips" with attorneys, which could include opportunities to attend closings, court arguments, witness depositions and/or client meetings. The candidates will display skills and interest in teamwork, an entrepreneurial spirit, taking initiative, a client-orientation, and the ability to create, advance, and deepen relationships. We prefer to see students who are in the top 25% of their class. Should have strong intellectual, problem-solving, analytical, and writing skills, and who have also participated in leadership roles in their schools or communities.
