Credit/Collections Accounting Specialist

Profile

Larkin Hoffman, one of the largest full-service business law firms in the Twin Cities, is seeking a highly motivated Credit/Collections Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. This position is full-time (37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.). The Credit/Collections Accounting Specialist is responsible for coordinating the overall collection process for attorneys and their clients. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work with attorneys to gain their confidence and effectively handle direct client contact to facilitate collection of fees. Familiarity with the legal process for enforcing receivables in order to work effectively in conjunction with the firm's attorneys is highly desirable. To be successful in this position, candidates must be highly organized and able to effectively leverage technology to manage tasks and data analysis.

Candidates should have 5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with accounts receivable collection software and Microsoft Office is required. A degree in accounting or finance with professional services experience is preferred. Must demonstrate top level client service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
