A law firm seeks a full-time, remote Associate Attorney specializing in workers' compensation law for newly licensed attorneys or recent bar examinees in California. Duties

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters through resolution
• Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions
• Respond to client inquiries and assist in advancing cases toward resolution
• Handle communications via phone and email in a timely manner
• Provide guidance and direction to support staff as needed
• Participate in team activities and contribute to a collaborative work environment
• Assist in improving processes through feedback and teamwork

Requirements

• Newly admitted attorneys or recent bar examinees encouraged to apply
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with depositions, including medical depositions, is a plus
• Must reside in California

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
