Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join the Real Estate Finance group in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of transactional real estate experience, representing lenders and/or borrowers, with a focus on real estate finance or commercial real estate.

Duties

• Represent lenders and borrowers in real estate finance transactions.
• Conduct due diligence review and analysis, including title insurance and survey.
• Review corporate formation documents, SNDAs, and construction documentation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of transactional real estate experience.
• Active member of the New York or Florida bar.
• Experience with customary due diligence is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York or Florida.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
