Evans, Craven & Lackie: Dynamic mid-sized Spokane civil litigation firm is accepting applications for Legal Assistant/Paralegal positions. Two years of previous legal experience is preferred but will consider less experience if you have a paralegal certificate or a Bachelor's degree. The successful candidate will have the following desired experience, skills and traits:

· Assist with litigations and preparations for trials, especially in medical malpractice

· Summarize medical records/radiology studies

· Draft and finalize pleadings and correspondence  

· Access information from multiple court jurisdictions

· Ability to format documents to suit court and attorneys’ preferences

· Working knowledge of state/federal court rules and procedures

· Schedule and summarize depositions, and calendaring case deadlines

· Technologically proficient (Word/Outlook/LexisNexis/Acrobat Pro/Zoom, etc)

· Manage multiple projects with competing priorities and complete within expected time

· Be organized, resourceful, able to multi-task, and prioritize workload

· Strong accuracy, attention for detail and proof-reading skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal instruction

· A team player with a positive attitude

· Courteous and respectful 

· Punctual and reliable

Full-time, Salary range: $41,600-$52,000/yr
