Duties:

• Represent healthcare professionals and institutions in medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and engage in case discovery.
• Attend hearings, trials, and mediations as the lead attorney.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to healthcare clients regarding malpractice defense strategies.
• Work collaboratively with a legal team to prepare cases for trial.
• Engage in settlement negotiations when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically focused on medical malpractice or nursing home negligence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the South Carolina Bar.
