Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced corporate attorney at the Counsel or Junior Partner level for their Philadelphia, PA office. The ideal candidate will have 7-12+ years of experience and the ability to independently manage a variety of corporate matters.

Duties

• Support and grow the corporate practice by handling outside general counsel work.
• Advise clients on day-to-day corporate needs and M&A transactions.
• Manage matters from initial consultation through closing.
• Draft and negotiate agreements and advise on governance issues.
• Coordinate with other practice groups as needed.

Requirements

• 7-12+ years of corporate experience, including OGC-style advisory work and M&A.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle matters independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other practice groups.
