Mid to Senior Level Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Portland is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation and related matters, exceptional writing skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. This role will primarily focus on employment litigation, including single plaintiff and class action matters, arbitrations, and providing support for various employment issues such as drafting client advisories and alerts.

Duties:

• Handle employment litigation matters, including single plaintiff and class action cases, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings.
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on a wide range of employment law issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings, and argue motions in court.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging employment law issues.
• Draft client advisories and alerts to keep clients informed about changes in employment law.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support on complex legal matters.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in employment litigation and related matters.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft pleadings, motions, and client advisories.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Membership in the Oregon State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Membership in the Oregon State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
