Duties:
Facilitate both residential and commercial property transactions from initial agreement to final closing
Draft, edit, and review legal documentation including contracts, purchase agreements, wills, trusts, and probate filings
Represent clients at property closings and probate proceedings
Provide strategic advice to clients in real estate, estate planning, and probate matters
Coordinate with internal legal professionals to manage a substantial transaction volume efficiently
Utilize case management platforms such as Smokeball and WealthCounsel to streamline workflow
Participate in initiatives aimed at expanding estate planning and probate service lines
Requirements:
Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience handling real estate legal matters
Demonstrated ability to independently manage property closings
Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-sensitive setting
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Familiarity with digital legal tools such as Smokeball and WealthCounsel (preferred)
Bilingual capabilities (preferred)
Portable client base (preferred but not required)
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active membership in the Illinois State Bar
