Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join its Labor & Employment practice group in Atlanta. This role is ideal for attorneys with 3 to 5 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling. The position includes opportunities to participate in high-stakes trials nationwide, provide strategic employment advice, and work on matters related to compliance, wage and hour laws, restrictive covenants, and employee agreements. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Duties:
Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including matters that proceed to trial across the U.S.
Handle all aspects of trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
Provide counsel on employment and separation agreements, restrictive covenants, and workplace policies
Advise clients on wage/hour compliance, employee classifications, and general HR best practices
Counsel clients on leave of absence issues and state/federal employment law developments
Conduct policy reviews and assist with internal compliance initiatives
Collaborate with clients and internal legal teams to deliver tailored legal solutions
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in employment-related litigation and counseling
Demonstrated trial exposure or significant litigation casework in employment matters
Experience advising on wage/hour classification, compliance, and leave issues
Strong understanding of employment contracts, separation agreements, and restrictive covenants
Ability to manage a dynamic caseload with competing priorities
Must be an active member of the Georgia Bar
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to practice law in the State of Georgia
Skills:
Strong litigation skills, including legal research, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational abilities
Practical, business-oriented approach to client counseling
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Commitment to client service and ethical legal practice
