The position involves handling high-value personal injury and civil litigation matters with the backing of experienced trial lawyers and exceptional legal staff.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil trials, with an emphasis on personal injury litigation

• Prepare and manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial strategy

• Collaborate closely with in-house private investigators and legal staff to develop cases for trial

• Maintain client relationships by offering clear communication and strategic advice

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and jury instructions

• Advocate confidently in court and negotiate settlements when appropriate

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a trial attorney, prosecutor, or civil defense counsel

• Strong interest and aptitude for jury trials

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues independently

• Familiarity with Texas court procedures and litigation timelines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

Skills:
