Duties

• Meet billable hours and revenue requirements
• Manage all aspects of caseload, including motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial
• Develop and implement case strategy plans aligned with client goals
• Ensure timely filing of legal documents and adherence to deadlines
• Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Provide outstanding oral advocacy in court proceedings
• Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Collaborate with legal staff to ensure case progression
• Handle sensitive client information with professionalism and confidentiality
• Stay updated on court procedures, rules, and legal developments
• Utilize legal technology, case management, and billing software

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in family law litigation
• Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple cases
• Exceptional interpersonal and client counseling skills
• Ability to strategize and execute legally sound case plans

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Utah Bar license (Required)
