Responsibilities: Participate in multi-state alternative investment firms (hedge fund, fund to funds, private equity, real estate) with state and local tax compliance. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide subject matter/alternative investment industry knowledge and experience. Review information presented on state income tax returns before, during and after preparation. Build and manage client relationships, and supervise, mentor, and develop staff. Senior manager candidates will be able to manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets; as well as team with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the Company’s tax practice.
