Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation and insurance defense cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Analyze legal and factual issues and develop defense strategies.
• Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and represent clients in trials and arbitrations.
• Provide legal advice and updates to clients and their representatives.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring compliance with billing requirements and maintaining high productivity.
• Collaborate with colleagues and build professional relationships with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong expertise in insurance defense matters is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Advanced civil litigation skills, particularly in defense cases.
