Duties

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses and reviewing documents.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for various cases.
• Conduct and defend depositions effectively.
• Interact with clients and opposing counsel professionally.
• Attend court appearances and represent clients.
• Provide advice on workplace law issues, including employee relations and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Two to five years of relevant labor and employment law experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Admission to practice law in Illinois is mandatory.
• Former experience as a federal court law clerk is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
