Duties:

• Litigate personal injury matters across Connecticut, focusing on auto accidents and premises liability

• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and support staff to gather factual and medical documentation

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal memoranda for state court filings

• Argue discovery-related motions and perform legal research on complex issues

• Oversee court approval procedures for wrongful death and minor settlements, including drafting and presenting petitions

• Manage all phases of litigation, including preparation for trial, mediation, and settlement

• Monitor critical deadlines, including statute of limitations, service of process, and filing requirements

Requirements:

• Active admission to the Connecticut Bar

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in personal injury litigation

• Proven ability to work in collaborative, team-oriented settings

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client relationships

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Desire for professional growth within a mission-aligned law practice

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal technology tools

• Excellent multitasking, organization, and time management skills

• Bar admission in NY, PA, OH, or WV is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Connecticut Bar license required

• Additional state bar admissions (NY, PA, OH, WV) considered an advantage
