Duties: Providing paralegal support to in-house counsel by performing research of statutes, legislative history, recorded judicial decisions/case law, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes; preparing and reviewing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, licensing agreements, purchase contracts, affidavits of documents, letters of intent, buy-sell agreements, leases, and closing papers for review, approval, and use by attorney; filing pleadings with court clerk; coordinating litigation support and case research, and preparing responses to interrogatories and requests for production; coordinating response to subpoenas; and maintaining document file, ensuring proper indexing and filing of original legal documents.
