Job Overview: A law firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking an Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, arguing motions, and managing various aspects of litigation cases. Duties:

• Drafting briefs, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Presenting oral arguments in court
• Interviewing witnesses
• Managing and coordinating litigation tasks
• Providing legal advice and counsel to clients
• Researching legal issues and preparing legal memoranda
• Collaborating with colleagues and remote teams

Requirements:

• Admission to the Bar in at least one of the following jurisdictions: California, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, DC
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation, organizational, and project management skills
• Experience working with remote teams
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and prioritize effectively
• Motivation to learn and understand technology-related issues
• Good judgment and ability to develop practical business solutions

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
