A well-established law firm in Wichita, KS, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to provide strategic legal representation and advocacy for clients navigating complex family law matters. This role involves handling a variety of cases, including divorce, legal separation, child custody, paternity, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong litigation skills, and be committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

Duties:

• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, judgments, and orders.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to family law matters.
• Interview and prepare witnesses for court appearances.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Provide legal advice and guidance tailored to each client's unique situation.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Kansas.
• Experience in family law is preferred.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Kansas Bar.
