Associate Faculty Part Time
The candidate should have Doctorate (i.e., Ph.D., DBA, Ed.D., JD) in a closely related field and current within his/her discipline. Teaching experience with graduate-level courses required. Ability to teach traditional on-ground classes on our main campus (Waterbury, CT) accelerated 8-week format required. Additional part-time assignments may be available teaching MBA courses to online class populations using accelerated 8-week formats required. Employ a range of strategies to foster student learning and engage student discussion in an active learning environment on campus, online, and virtual required. Applied technology skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) are required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning required. Knowledge of educational Learning Management Systems (Such as Blackboard LMS) is a plus. Understand or have a working knowledge of Blackboard, MS Teams, or similar LMS platforms required.
