The role involves working with general partners and limited partners in the private funds industry, providing comprehensive services and understanding industry dynamics.

Duties

• Structure funds and management entities.
• Negotiate with institutional investors, including pension plans and endowments.
• Handle secondary sales of limited partner fund stakes.
• Participate in general partner-led fund restructurings.
• Draft and review legal documents.
• Collaborate with partners, senior counsels, and clients.

Requirements

• Experience in fund formation and investment management.
• Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act and Securities Act.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and positive attitude.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) of practice.
