Location

Duties

• Handle regulatory investigations involving privacy and data security matters, including consumer protection issues with State Attorneys General, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and other regulatory agencies.
• Defend clients in data privacy and security class actions, including cases involving:
  • Stored Communications Act
  • Wiretapping claims
  • Unfair and deceptive trade practices
  • Data breach class actions
• Engage directly with clients to lead significant projects and provide strategic legal counsel.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in:
  • Regulatory investigations or litigation focused on consumer protection issues.
  • Defending data privacy and security class actions.
• Ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively within a team.
• General fluency in technology-related legal issues.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school with a high level of academic achievement.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the selected office location.

• Tech fluency and ability to address technology-related legal matters.
