A prominent U.S. law firm is currently seeking a Corporate Associate with 4–7 years of relevant experience to join its Investment Services practice group. The role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary legal team across several major markets. Candidates will engage in complex regulatory and transactional matters while collaborating closely with firm leadership and clients. Duties

• Advise registered investment companies and advisers on regulatory and compliance matters under federal securities laws

• Counsel clients on the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933

• Lead or support transactions involving fund reorganizations, mergers, and other corporate matters

• Provide legal guidance related to mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and independent trustees and directors

• Work directly with clients and shareholders on key projects and initiatives

• Participate in business development activities and cross-practice collaboration

• Manage multiple matters with autonomy and precision

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience with registered investment companies, investment advisers, and federal securities law compliance

• Demonstrated ability to manage transactional matters involving investment companies

• Familiarity with fund governance and regulatory frameworks

• Strong leadership and project management capabilities

• Bar admission in good standing or pending in the jurisdiction of intended office location

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Excellent academic credentials preferred

Certifications

• Active or pending bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Good standing with applicable licensing authority
