Duties: Reviews medical records and bills for accuracy. Ensures medical records and billings are complete and up-to-date. Flags any missing medical information and notifies the CM and Medical Records Specialist that additional information is needed. Prepares demand packages, ensuring they are complete prior to submission to insurance carriers. Prepares detailed medical record summaries. Identifies when physician opinion letters are needed and obtain same. Identifies matters where prior medical history is needed and requests same. Obtains permanent/partial disability rating documentation from physicians. Review and validate lost wage documentation.
