Duties

• Lead real estate litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Handle commercial and residential property disputes.
• Navigate landlord-tenant conflicts and property rights issues.
• Guide clients through zoning and land use litigation.
• Manage and respond to written discovery.
• Conduct motion practice and legal research.
• Investigate key facts and gather critical case information.
• Represent clients in real estate disputes and business disputes.
• Oversee support staff such as paralegals and clerks.
• Write and review title abstracts, summaries, and contracts.
• Cooperate with city boards and agencies to obtain permits.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a civil litigation attorney.
• Up-to-date knowledge of property management and business law.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Maintaining an active CA Bar License in good standing.
• Strong passion for litigation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active law license in the state and membership in the local bar association.
