Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a Securitization Associate to join its Corporate practice in New York. This role involves advising on sophisticated financing transactions, including securitizations, structured finance, and asset-based lending. Ideal candidates will bring 3–6 years of law firm experience in complex financial transactions. The position is best suited for attorneys who thrive on innovation and creative deal structuring. Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Advise clients on securitizations, structured finance, and asset-based lending transactions

• Structure and negotiate complex financial deals, including bespoke asset classes

• Draft and review transaction documents such as offering materials, indentures, purchase agreements, and related filings

• Collaborate with investment banks, issuers, institutional investors, and other key market participants

• Provide legal insight on emerging and esoteric asset classes

• Coordinate with internal legal teams and external stakeholders throughout deal execution

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of experience at a law firm working on securitization, structured finance, or asset-based lending matters

• Solid understanding of regulatory and market trends affecting structured products

• Admitted to the New York Bar

• Strong client service and project management skills

• Experience handling complex financial documentation and negotiations

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Certifications:

• Active New York Bar admission

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of securitization and asset-backed finance

• Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in complex matters

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
