The tax team provides comprehensive legal services to institutional clients, supporting complex M&A, securities, real estate, and foreign investment matters. As a member of this dynamic team, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in high-stakes transactions and be an integral part of a diverse legal environment.

Duties:

• Assist in advising clients on U.S. tax issues related to cross-border transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate structuring.
• Draft and review tax-related agreements, documentation, and legal memoranda.
• Research tax regulations, policies, and emerging issues.
• Manage multiple client files, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal solutions and services.
• Collaborate with other legal teams on multi-disciplinary projects and transactions.
• Provide legal guidance on U.S. tax laws to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain a client-focused approach, building strong, trust-based relationships.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in a U.S. law firm tax practice, with exposure to cross-border transactions and M&A tax matters.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple files efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client service.
• An inquisitive nature and enthusiasm for tax law, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also handling matters independently.
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice in New York.
