Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Elk River, MN, is looking to expand its legal team with the addition of a dedicated attorney experienced in family law. This role involves providing hands-on legal representation in matters such as divorce, custody, and other domestic relations issues. Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings involving family and domestic matters

• Manage caseloads involving divorce, custody, child support, and related issues

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

• Conduct legal research and formulate strategies tailored to client needs

• Engage in negotiation and mediation where applicable

• Maintain timely communication with clients throughout the legal process

• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and conferences

• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality legal service delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of legal experience with a focus on family law

• Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills

• Proficiency in case management and legal drafting

• Excellent interpersonal and client management skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritize a diverse caseload

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota (required)
