Duties

• Conduct legal research.
• Assist with legal administrative tasks, including document management and organization.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the North Carolina state bar association.
• Strong research skills with experience using legal research databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
• Experience in legal drafting, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
• Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
