Location:

• New York City, NY

Duties:

• Represent clients in general civil defense litigation matters

• Handle all aspects of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and other court documents

• Attend court conferences and hearings

• Advise clients on case strategy and legal options

• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff within the litigation team

Requirements:

• Up to 5 years of legal practice experience

• Minimum of 3 years handling civil litigation matters

• Admission to the New York State Bar at the time of hire

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently

• Strong verbal and written advocacy skills

• Commitment to high standards of professionalism and client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active New York Bar license (Admission date must be included with application)

Skills:

• Legal research and writing

• Litigation strategy and analysis
