White Collar Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking a White Collar Associate Attorney with 5-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in securities litigation, SEC enforcements, government investigations, and a strong preference for additional experience in fraud, corruption, trade sanctions, and export controls. Outstanding academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and admission to the Bar in Washington, D.C., are required, with preference given to candidates also admitted in Florida.

Duties:

• Handle securities litigation and investigations
• Assist with SEC enforcements and government investigations
• Provide legal counsel on fraud, corruption, trade sanctions, and export controls matters
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client representation

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience in white-collar defense, securities litigation, and investigations
• Admission to the Bar in Washington, D.C.
• Preference for candidates also admitted to the Bar in Florida
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comparable law firm experience, Law Review, and federal clerkship preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Washington, D.C.
• Preferably admitted to the Bar in Florida
