Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Certified Family Law Specialist or experienced Family Law Attorney in California. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated advocate with a minimum of five years of family law experience, ready to contribute to a dynamic team and support clients through challenging times.

Duties

• Communicate directly with clients, providing advice and advocacy.
• Handle all aspects of litigation and negotiation, including pleadings and trials.
• Prepare clients for hearings and child custody evaluations.
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions and settlement agreements.
• Manage complex issues like property division and custody evaluations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of family law experience (CFLS preferred).
• Strong research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Familiarity with Clio and Mac systems is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Certified Family Law Specialist (preferred).
