A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Tampa, FL. The candidate must be a member in good standing of the Virgin Islands Bar and be prepared to manage a significant volume of cases in creditor's rights. This full-time position may require travel for court appearances and offers the flexibility of remote work.

Duties

• Handle a significant volume of creditor's rights cases.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice and depositions.
• Engage in conflict resolution and appellate advocacy.
• Make court appearances and travel as needed.
• Develop and maintain industry relationships.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Virgin Islands Bar.
• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to superior client support and judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar License in the Virgin Islands (required).
• Additional state licenses are a plus.
