Duties

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct extensive legal research.
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Provide effective and timely communications and legal advice to clients and claims personnel.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Ensure prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission to the Delaware Bar (admission in NJ, WV, or PA is a plus).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance defense or related setting.
• Litigation experience required, including depositions and discovery.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent work ethic.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
