This position provides support in overseeing and performing the supply functions relating to inventory, ordering, receiving, distribution, and storage of medical surgical materials and supplies. This position also monitors and provides a one stop pull system in each department using kanbans enterprise wide. This position is able to perform the accountabilities outlined in the Supply Tech I, with additional responsibilities in supply chain operations.
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position and 2-5 years relevant Supply Chain experience.
This position also requires a demonstrated ability to work under stress while maintaining a courteous, tactful, and professional manner. Must have working knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse distribution systems, and strong math and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation required.
Strong problem solving ability and time management skills needed.
Ability to read and understand labels and follow written instructions.
Must have the ability to follow standard work and a working knowledge of medical products, as established by product recognition.
Must be efficient and have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
CMRP certification is preferred.
Job Demands & Environment:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, exerting 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
