Senior Corporate Counsel - Labor and Employment

The candidate will be overseeing investigations and preparation of responses to administrative charges and/or complaints filed with the DOL, EEOC, and various state and local civil rights agencies, including the supervision and management of outside counsel. Assisting in developing, reviewing, and revising employee policies and procedures; partnering with ER/HR to ensure consistent application of company policies. Collaborating with risk and safety departments on matters ranging from workers’ compensation, accommodations, and workplace violence, as necessary and appropriate. Advising on all aspects of employment, including background checks, drug screenings, onboarding, discipline, sensitive terminations, performance management, leaves of absence, workplace investigations, and other employee-related matters and issues. Advising on wage and hour-related questions, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Managing pre-litigation and litigation matters regarding employment, labor, and employee benefits matters. Assisting with other general litigation matters and internal investigations, including witness interviews, document reviews, and discovery responses.
