Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced litigation associate with 4-7 years of experience to work on a wide range of complex litigation matters. This position offers the flexibility to work in any of the firm’s office locations across the nation. The firm handles various high-stakes disputes, including fiduciary obligations related to multi-billion dollar public and private pension plans, constitutional and public agency law compliance, employee and disability retirement benefit disputes, intellectual property disputes, insurance coverage, real estate and lease disputes, and breach of contract claims. Location:

  • Tucson, AZ

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of complex litigation matters, including fiduciary disputes, pension plan issues, constitutional law, employee benefits, and more.
  • Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in both state and federal courts.
  • Assist with eDiscovery processes and manage document review.
  • Participate in depositions and trial preparation.
  • Manage multiple cases and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Take ownership of significant projects and contribute to the success of the firm.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of litigation experience.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
  • Experience drafting and responding to discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts.
  • eDiscovery experience preferred.
  • Deposition experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:

  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and business judgment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with eDiscovery processes is preferred.
