Duties:
- Draft insurance coverage opinions for a variety of liability and property insurers.
- Handle insurance defense litigation alongside coverage opinion work.
- Provide legal analysis and counsel regarding complex insurance coverage matters.
- Collaborate with the firm’s team to manage and resolve insurance-related issues.
- Stay current on developments in insurance law and industry trends.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience handling insurance coverage matters.
- Must be currently licensed to practice law in Florida.
- Additional licensure in other states is a plus.
- Experience with Westlaw and legal research tools.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active license to practice law in Florida.
- Additional state bar admissions are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Expertise in drafting insurance coverage opinions.
- Experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Ability to manage complex legal issues independently.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
