A law firm seeks a Supervising Attorney to manage its Mississippi Division, primarily serving mortgage lenders and servicers, banks, and other mortgage investors. This role, based in Atlanta, GA, involves overseeing legal and operational functions, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines, and managing the department's financial performance.

Duties

• Attend mediations, trials, and hearings.
• Ensure compliance with CFPB and OCC regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments for operational and legal compliance.
• Manage attorneys and paralegals.
• Develop departmental policies and goals.
• Travel as needed.
• Write articles and make presentations.
• Participate in marketing and business development.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in MS; GA license preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of litigation and default management experience.
• Member of the state Bar with necessary licensing and education.
• Experience managing employees and P&L responsibility.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Mississippi.
