Overview
The Marketing Compliance Manager (Digital) leads the development, implementation and evolution of the Global Marketing compliance framework, ensuring business practices appropriately mitigate risks to protect brand reputation, ensure regulatory compliance and proper financial stewardship while achieving business objectives. This position is a subject matter expert in Digital Marketing Compliance and is responsible for the staffing, management, and career development of a Compliance team.  Additionally, this position shares responsibility for the overall internal control environment and will be expected to provide guidance, recommendations, and training to the Global Marketing Department.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation and evolution of the Global Marketing Compliance Framework to ensure appropriate processes, systems and business practices are in place to mitigate risks while balancing the costs and benefits of such controls.
Evaluate overall Marketing internal control environment in order to identify risks that inhibit achievement of business objectives (i.e., Data Access, Systems Access, Record Retention, Data Security, Proper Segregation of Responsibilities, etc.).
Partner with Marketing teams to mitigate compliance risk associated with marketing technology systems and processes. Includes consulting with marketers on the design, implementation and execution of controls, developing mitigation plans and follow-up to ensure they are executed properly and timely.
Partner with other teams (Legal, Data Privacy, Audit, Compliance and Ethics, Supply Chain) to ensure department is compliant with company policies (I.e., Privacy Policies, appropriate laws and regulations, Data Protection, Ethics).
Responsible for the development and facilitation of training and documentation to support compliance objectives and adoption of best practices.
Leverage and analyze data to identify and recommend controls/tools to mitigate program risks.
Guide and coordinate with marketers and other parties during internal/external audits and act as a key contact during audits, as assigned.
Oversee periodic audits to measure and ensure department compliance with company/department policies, appropriate laws and regulations and operational effectiveness.
Assist with compliance risk assessments for new and/or existing technology solutions and vendors.
Develop, train, and create an environment to engage Compliance team members.
Assess and implement Business Continuity Plans.
Leverage working knowledge of Digital Marketing Platforms (i.e., Adobe, Google, Localytics, Salesforce), and Data/Content Management to ensure proper controls are in place.
Stay abreast of regulatory changes that impact Marketing Governance

Qualifications
Minimum:

Bachelor\u2019s Degree (Accounting, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Technology or applicable field preferred)
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Seven (7 ) years or more of Accounting, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, or Audit related experience
One (1 ) years or more of supervisory experience
Two (2 ) years or more of experience in evaluating internal controls
Two (2 ) years or more of digital marketing systems experience (i.e., Marketing Cloud, Omni-channel eCommerce, Content Management, Analytics, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management)

Preferred:

Master\u2019s Degree
CCEP, CPA, CMA, CIA, CIPP or similar certifications
Two (2 ) years or more of supervisory experience
