Job Overview:
A leading law firm specializing in litigation is seeking a seasoned Senior Insurance Defense Attorney with over 15 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel, managing client relationships, and overseeing various legal proceedings in the field of insurance defense. This position offers flexibility with remote work options.

Duties:

• Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation in insurance-related cases
• Conduct in-depth legal research and due diligence
• Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding insurance defense matters
• Review, modify, and draft insurance-related contracts
• Prepare for and represent clients in legal proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and represent client interests
• Maintain and manage detailed, accurate client records
• Supervise paralegals and administrative staff in case preparation and management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in insurance defense law
• Strong background in all stages of litigation, from case inception to resolution
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other legal management software
• Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and manage client relationships
• Proven leadership skills, especially in supervising junior staff

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in-good-standing California State Bar license
