Senior Counsel-2

The candidate will provide legal advice to management and staff within KEF in all legal aspects for leasing and financing business, including its commercial vendor line of business. Draft, review and negotiation of non-standard legal documentation with customers, vendors and funders. Review and negotiation of program agreements with vendors. Perform legal research and provide summaries of findings required or as assigned. Continuous updating of legal standard documentation. Coordination and supervision of external lawyers. Develop and maintain strong collaborative and collegial relationships with client and Law Department colleagues. Coordination of legal actions. Keep informed of legislation, court cases and other decisions affecting assigned functional group. Assist in legal training projects. Other duties, special projects, and special reporting as assigned by the Assistant General Counsel. Bachelor’s Degree, Juris Doctorate is required. Should have 7+ years of relevant experience. Proven comfort level/experience working with senior-level management is required. License as required by state of practice is required.
